Space Coast REACT , Inc. is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt, non profit, all Volunteer Public Service Organization. We are Incorporated in the State of Florida, and were chartered by REACT International, Inc, on 30 September 1983.

NOTICE -- When Hurricane Watches or Warnings are issued for Brevard County the American Flag at top will be replaced with a Hurricane Warning Flag.

EMERGENCY COMMUNICATIONS

We provide Emergency Communications during Emergencies and Disasters, utilizing Amateur Radio, General Mobile Radio Service (GMRS) in the UHF band, and continue to monitor Channel 9 on CB as often as possible.

During Disasters, we work directly with the Brevard County Emergency Management. They have the latest information on Shelters, Evacuation, Special Needs, as well as other important information. We also provide rehab (food/refreshments) to Firefighters in the field during major fires.

We were activated during the Tornados in the first months of 1998, then later activated during the Fires around Florida, then came the Hurricanes. 1998 was a busy year.

We also provide Communications to assist other Non Profit Organizations, such as Special Olympics, March of Dimes, Vietnam Vetrans of Brevard (when the Wall replica is here), Walk-a-thons, Melbourne Christmas Parade, and other Organizations.
